Niko Papastefanou
Добавлен 22 фев 2011
None of the following was written by Niko Papastefanou, to boast of oneself in the 3rd person is simply pretentious... (though he is looking over my shoulder right now...)
Niko has fearless comedic instincts that equally match his grounded dramatic performances both on screen and on stage, and of course when called for, some great improv skills. He was raised in NYC by a big Greek/Italian family, where he earned a BFA in acting from Pace University. Niko's a proud member of LGBTQ+ community.
Just a FEW highlights from his career so far: The unstable (to say the least) UNSUB on CBS's Criminal Minds, being directed by Danny A in "Blackjack: The Jackie Ryan Story," getting eaten to death by Doug Jones in Todd Tucker's "The Terror of Hallows Eve," and taught by Lesly Kahn herself where he thinks she described him as either yummy or funny, he didn't quite hear her when she said this but either one makes him blush. (Oh good, he's on the phone... I'm gonna get out of here before he

James Earl Jones - Fences "You Ain't Never Liked Me"
A scene from the original Broadway production of Fences at the 1987 Tony Awards by the incredible James Earl Jones. This is a piece of acting that I thought needed to be shared and even more of reason why I think they should continue to show performances from Plays at the Tony's, instead of just a synopsis. Enjoy!

It's a shame the movie just straight up wanted to be a play. Just didn't translate.
RIP ...
Rest in peace
Imagine being the only cracker in audience.. 😮
The voice of several generations. R.I.P. James Earl Jones.
Best theater performances ever
Rest in power, King
R.I.P. James Earl Jones (1931-2024) Dies At Age 93
Be whatever kind of father you want to be, but remember, your gravestone will reflect it "Devoted husband loving father" or "Here lies" that's up to you
hearing someone get called the n word by darth vader was not on my 2024 bucket list but hell yea
This scene never gets less chilling. Makes me feel like a little kid again. And makes me feel damn grateful for what I have.
R.I.P James 😭
RIP James Earl Jones. Unforgettable voice and actor
Wow that was deep. I think some people missed the point here.
Damn... Luke got off easy 😅
Oh shit Vader in another life
James Earl Jones' "I ain't got to like you" scene was better than Denzel's. That being said, could Troy have come across better than that? Could he have said what he said without sounding like he disliked, or even hated, his son? Absolutely. But Troy had to get his son ready for a world that hated him on sight and would just as soon unalive him as look at him. Those lessons didn't always look pretty or feel good. Troy was wrong for what he said, but I get why he said it. His words were actually out of love. It just didn't feel that way when he said them.
RIP
RIP Mr. Jones. Does anyone know where I can find the full video of this performance of Fences? Is it on DVD?
Densel Washington is a masterful actor and his take on this scene is exceptional BUT James Earl Jones performance here is exponentially a better performance - such power in his presence, in his voice and his passionate delivery. Some of the finest acting I’ve ever seen!
Why is it so hard to say ASK?
Beatty Stravenue

I know bro was a 🦝, but damn his performance is undeniable🥹 RIP JEJ
that little blink right after he delivvers and the music que plays is really sad to watch after hearing he passed. RIP genuinely
Long live the king rip James earl jones 🪦🦁👑
James: 😳 Denzel: 😒😐
RIP james
So, are we supposed to agree with this speech by JEJ or does this speech show a flaw in JEJ's thinking? What do you all think? I understand a father and husband should provide for his family. I guess it's just sad if a father finds it hard to like his son or to reassure his son of his feelings for him. It may just mean that this father and son have too much difference so that if they weren't father and son, they probably wouldn't be friends. Maybe that's the difference between love and like. You can love your child because you are supposed to, but that doesn't mean you like them. It feels bad to say that, but I assume that may be true for a lot of parents and their children.
*talkin bout liking somebody-* 🪵
Black people need to actually meditate on this scene & then vote. So worried about whether on not we’re liked . Who cares if they like , love or don’t like us, what can you do for us is the question, the ONLY question
So, you're that guy that shows up to every funeral, tap dancing on the casket and telling us why granny is going to hell because she didn't buy, vote, did x/y/z when most folk want a moment of a bereavement outside of bs of the rest of the world. democrats, republicans, each of them responding to his death like justin bieber at the anne frank house.
They gone celebrate his legacy then Years later forget about him like any star which is sad.
God I miss him.
